2018 CJCFC and CFC Lead Coach (Voluntary)

Scottish Fencing are seeking a suitability qualified person to act as Lead Coach at the upcoming Cadet and Junior Commonwealth Fencing Championships being held at the University of Northumberland between the 22nd and 31st of July 2018 and the Commonwealth Senior Fencing Championships in Australia (November 2018).

Contract:              Appointed to 31 March 2019.

Location:              Home based but overseas travel and travel within UK for events.

Salary:                 Voluntary –  travel and accommodation expenses are covered as per Scottish Fencing’s expenses policy, SF will provide SF Canterbury kit.

Closing date:         26 February 2018

Interview dates:    TBC

The Lead Coach is to create a professional and responsible squad environment allowing athletes to perform to the best of their abilities whilst upholding Scottish Fencing’s culture, values and relevant policies. The Lead coach will work with all current squad members and their personal coaches where necessary to ensure the requirements of each fencer can be met to ensure their optimum performance.
